Contest Topics- October 18th- November 1st, 2008.
This week's contest topics for FANART are:
1) It's Halloween at Hogwarts! Students are all dressed up, ready to enjoy their spooky evening. Draw, paint, sketch, or create a scene depicting the holiday. Anything from the trio (or even your roleplay character) dressed up in silly costumes to a scaryyy Halloween scene! You could even draw characters participating in any of the Acromantula events going on this week! Or...
2) Draw an autumn scene, anything from the giant squid basking in the chilly lake to students rolling amongst the crisp fall leaves. You could even draw a landscape as seen from the tallest tower of Hogwarts!
This week's contest topics for FANFICTION are:
1) Write a story (no more than 2 pages long) based on this title: "The Master of Disguise". Be creative! Remember; it's Halloween at Hogwarts! Or...
2) Write a story by expanding on this opening paragraph: "The students of Hogwarts were enjoying Halloween; everyone was dressed up and ready for whatever the night brought them...or so they thought. The Great Hall was lavishly decorated with Hagrid's giant pumpkins and bright, floating candles as the students filed in to eat dinner. A scream escaped someone's lips at the sight that awaited them. Merlin! It was....."
